Since 1900, kalaitzis family deals with sheep breeding. In 1970s , the company expanded its business in retailing and meat trading-butcher- in litohoro pierias. since 1984 except breeding and retailing , business was expanded by fattening beef animals and also by wholesale trading.as a result, kalaitzis and co has become a vertically integrated company in the area of meat production and trade.
